OVERVIEW
Little Things is a YouTube channel started by a young drummer who recently graduated from music college and me, a media producer with a passion for music. Certainly all the content on this channel is about drums, including drum covers, drum product reviews, sharing knowledge or experiences about drums, and even giving details about drum competitions.
OBJECTIVE
We want to produce content about drums in the form of Edutainment (Education and Entertainment) for audiences not only in Thailand but also for audiences around the world who are interested in drums or music, including creating engagement with audiences through Social Media.
RESEARCH
There are more than a thousand drum channels on Youtube, so we scanned channels that have more than a hundred thousand subscribers, famous drummers, and endorsed drummers by musical instrument brands. From scanning 30 drummers;
- Average content about drum covers is 80%
- Average content about drum product reviews is 14%
- Average content about sharing experience and is 8%
- Average other contents is 5%
ANALYSIS
Current State Analysis
Most drummers use software to visualize notes for use in their videos. With the limitation of software, they have a similar design. There is only one drummer who uses notes created by handwriting graphics, but just a short duration.

As the amount of views, Short on YouTube and Reel on Instagram are more popular than full videos on YouTube. With the analysis, we have identified the following gaps:
- Using more graphics to make it more fun and not too formal. Also, gives a crafty experience to audiences.
- Trim a highlight from the full video and post on social media following the schedule
DESIGN
Musical Notes on the screen
I grabbed a handwritten musical note that she had written to create content and made a lesson note at the bottom of the screen.
Vertical Aspect Ratio
I design pre-production for recording videos in a vertical aspect ratio. These footages were prepared for short-form content on social media.
Accessible for International Audiences
In addition to international music content, the script is designed to be easy to understand and uses universal language so that international audiences can understand the content.
